Dog will not stop eating shit?
I have a 1 1 / 2 years, Boston Terrier who will not stop eating shit. It is even gone too far to expect that ends my other dog pooping so he can go running and eat. I tried vitamins, powders, chewable tabs, pineapple, meat tenderizer, and everything else under the sun. This dog is well fed and always food available so there should not be a necessity for him to eat shit. And if anything I can do right now to stop this bad habit?
One main reason a dog eating feces is because they recognize as food. Many dogs who eat high corn or other cereal food content eat their own feces because the grains are not well digested by dogs. They recognize the undigested grains as food. I saw a number of pointers to do so after taking off junk food and grain fed a high Quailty free, or food very low grain. (rice is more digestible than corn, for) such a thing to try if your dog is CurrentY a food high in cereals – And not just because of eating shit, your dog will be much healthier for it.
