The reishi mushroom has long held a special place in the annals of traditional Chinese medicine as a potent plant for the implementation of welfare and longevity. Studies of Reishi in cancer research has been conducted largely in Japan and China. In 1986, Dr Fukumi Morishige, MD, Ph.D, a renowned Japanese surgeon and member of the Institute Linus Pauling of Science and Medicine, found that reishi may be used in the treatment of cancer cases abandoned as hopeless.
