INGREDIENTS 1 cup combination of diced dried fruit, like plums, apricots, pears and apples 1 / 2 cup raisins and / or dried cherries or cranberries 1 1 / 2 cups unsalted sunflower seeds 1 cup roasted unsalted peanuts sec (or honey roasted peanuts, chopped walnuts or almonds, unsalted) DIRECTIONS Combine all. Makes 4 cups. Pink Ribbon Trail Mix What you need From a bag of M & M'S ® Brand chocolate candies seven bowls of cereal (granola, crispy corn, rice or wheat squares, squares Graham Honey oatmeal bread rounds, etc.) 1 cup nuts (mixed nuts, peanuts, almonds, pecans, walnuts, etc.) / 2 cup raisins or dried fruit 1 1 / 2 cup sugar 1 / 3 cup peanut butter 1 / 4 cup Karo ® Light Corn 1 / 4 cup butter or margarine syrup teaspoon spice Islands ® Pure Vanilla Extract 1 / 4 c. teaspoon baking soda 1 What to do: Mix cereal, nuts and raisins in a large bowl and set aside. Cook sugar, peanut butter, corn syrup and butter in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat and add vanilla and baking soda. Pour mixture over cereal and stir until combined evenly coated. Pour in a buttered baking sheet. Bake at 300 ˚ F for about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir mixture. Cool completely. Mix candy desired quantity of M & M Store in an airtight container. Makes 10 cups. Trail Mix What you need: 1 bag M & M'S ® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies 2 cups popped popcorn 1 / 2 cup roasted peanuts 1 / 2 cup banana chips 1 / 2 cup dried cranberries Sweet / 2 cup raisins 1 What to do: In a large mixing bowl, gently mix all ingredients and store in an airtight container. Makes 2 quarts.
